Jamaican Family Search Genealogy Research Library
The Roman Catholic Registers that have been transcribed for this website have been arranged in four Sections:
SECTION I: Baptisms, Marriages and Burials transcribed from the actual Registers. Each Register is identified by its individual title, and links are provided to the pages containing the entries from the Registers. These registers are in addition to those used for Section II. Registers for Kingston and St. Andrew are followed by Registers for churches in other Parishes.
Explanations for abbreviations used may be found at the top of each web page. Items enclosed in [ ] square brackets are comments or suggestions from Jamaican Family Search.

SECTION II: "Family Reports Based on eight Baptism and Marriage Registers". This was the first Section to be placed on the site. Information in the Registers in the other 3 sections is in addition to that contained here.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SECTION III: Indexes to other Baptism and Marriage Registers for the periods indicated, and Indexes to the "Small Books" for areas outside of Kingston.
The Registers in these first 3 sections are kept in the Roman Catholic Archives, Kingston, and are in the custody of the "The Archivist, Roman Catholic Chancery, 21 Hopefield Avenue, Kingston 6, Jamaica, West Indies," to whom any request for copies should be addressed. See photos Archives.
