BROWN'S TOWN, ST. ANN, CIRCUIT

(Including Stewart Town, Trelawny)

Baptisms in the Brown's Town Circuit, 1838-1892

The baptisms also included those of some persons from northern Clarendon

Evidently the pages in the records of baptisms in this circuit for 1839 to 1892 became loose.  To prevent a further loss of pages, at some point in time the loose pages were bound together, but not in date order, and page numbers were then assigned to the bound pages.  Each entry spread across the left and right hand pages, which were assigned one page number.  The page numbers transcribed here are therefore not in date order.

The first volume of the Register of Baptisms

The dates included in the first 130 double-pages of the first Register of Baptisms from Brown's Town are:

March 1839 to March 1861
December 1873 to December 1874
April 1876 to December 1879
March 1880 to June 1892

Brown's Town Circuit, part 1, Brown's Town A - C Aaron to Cunningham.

Brown's Town Circuit, part 1, Brown's Town S - Y Samuel to Young.

The dates included in the last section of the double-pages of the first Register of Baptisms from Brown's Town are:
