In the second major section of this book there is a "Directory of Estates, Pens and Properties in Jamaica." Here the entries are listed alphabetically for each Parish according to the name of the property. For each property the name of the owner is given, as well as the name of the planting attorney and the overseer, where applicable. This will be a valuable research key for those who have a property name, or who are researching ancestors who were overseers. Please see below for links.
