This newspaper, in 1873, consisted of 4 pages, of which 1 1/2 pages contained news, editorials and letters to the Editor, and the other 2 1/2 pages contained advertisements. The newspaper was published on Tuesdays and Fridays. The news covered not only Falmouth, but also the rest of the island.
The news from Falmouth reflects the fact that there were many Jews living in that town. Many were merchants, and they participated in committees and other local bodies.
