Note:  I am entering it in this family, as I think the name in the margin should have been Virgo.  There were 3 entries, and one of the others was for Wisdom.  There are no parents at that time period with the name Montague and Olive Wisdom.

James Virgo Dunn and his wife were buried in the same family vault in the churchyard at All Saints, Leamington Spa, England.

In early Victorian times Leamington had a number of springs which had medicinal properties and many upper class people went there to take 'the cure' based on drinking the waters. It became a fashionable place to go to and to live in.

The inscription to him on the side of the Dunn tomb, reads as follows:-
"Sacred to the memory of JAMES VIRGO DUNN Esq and for a record at once of his virtues and of her sorrow who was during more than ..... years his attached and grateful wife. Born in Jamaica XX..... died in this parish XXIX October MDCCCXX. "

WILL OF JAMES VIRGO DUNN

This is the last will and testament of me James Virgo Dunn formerly of the parish of Trelawny in the island of Jamaica but now of No. 10 Devonshire St Portland Place London Esquire
First I direct that all my just debts funeral expenses and the charges of the probate of this my Will shall be paid with all convenient speed after my decease out of the rents and profits and produce of my real estate in exoneration of my personal estate I give and bequeath unto my dear wife Elizabeth Dunn formerly Elizabeth Simpson daughter of John Simpson late Bounty Hall Estate in the parish of Trelawny and Island of Jamaica ---ecreased(?)  all such stock as shall be standing in my name at the time of my decease in the books of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England either in the 3% consolidated government annuities or in the secured bank annuities and all such other sum and sums of money as I shall be possessed of at the time of my decease and all debts that may be due and owing to me together also with the lease of any dwelling house I may die possessed of and all and singular my plate linen and glass and household goods books furniture casks wine liquors watches trinkets wearing apparel horses carriages and harness and personal estate of every sort and kind And I also give to her all the produce of my estates in Jamaica both sugar and rum as shall not be sold or shall not be shipped from the said Island or shall be on shipboard or in harbour or on the seas on its passage at the time of my decease and I also give devise and bequeath all those my female Negro slaves as follows viz: Augusta with her three children Polly Luna and Cynthia, Caroline with her child Sarah, and Eliza with her child Lucy, and Lucy and their present and future issue and increase unto my said wife Elizabeth Dunn her heirs and assigns forever
And I give and devise all that moiety of a certain plantation or estate called Chester Estate together with the Negro grounds and lands the name of Browns Mountain both situate in the parish of Trelawny in the said Island of Jamaica together with all and singular the lands buildings and hereditaments to the said estate belonging or appertaining and all the Negro and other slaves upon and belonging to the said plantation and issue offspring and increase of the females of the said slaves and all houses buildings cattle plantation utensils tools and implements of planting and all other the live and dead stock upon or belonging to the said plantation and lands
And also all that parcel of land patented in my name for 300 acres situate in the parish of Westmoreland adjoining the estate called Burnt Savanna Estate in the Island of Jamaica unto and to the use of my said wife Elizabeth Dunn and her assigns for the term of her natural life and from and immediately after the decease of my said wife Elizabeth Dunn then I gave and devise the same plantation lands slave cattle stock and premises unto the use of my nephew George Brooks only son of my sister Elizabeth Brooks of Burnt Ground in the parish of St. Elizabeth widow and the issue male of his Family lawfully begotten and in default of such issue then I gave and devise the same unto and to the use of the first sons and heirs and all and every of his son and sons of my sister Sarah Spence wife of Patrick Spence of the parish of Westmoreland in the said Island of Jamaica Esquire severally successively and in remainder one after another in order and course as every of them shall be in seniority of birth and of the several and respective heirs male of the body and bodies of all and every son and sons. . . and in default of such issue unto and to the use of the first second and all and every other the son and sons of my sister Patty Virgo Anglin late the wife of John Anglin of Orange Grove in the parish of Westmoreland. . . and in default of such issue. . . provided always that it shall and may be lawful to and for my said wife Elizabeth Dunn by her last will and testament or by any codicil or codicils thereto. . . to direct and appoint
And I do hereby constitute and appoint my said wife Elizabeth Dunn sole executrix of this my will and at her decease I appoint the said George Brooks or such other person or persons as may at the time be entitled. . . Executor or Executors of this my Last Will hereby revoking all other wills and codicils by me at any time heretofore made

William Reeves took over as her attorney and reported as follows:
   1826  33 slaves
   1829  33 slaves on Chester Estate
   1832  33 slaves on Chester Estate
These were the slaves that had been owned by her husband in 1817 and 1820 in his own right.

Inscriptions to Elizabeth and her husband are on one tomb, along with another tomb, both of which cover a single family vault in the churchyard at All Saints, Leamington Spa.  The inscription to her is at the foot of the Dunn tomb (see photographs above):
"Here lies in the same grave with her husband, Elizabeth widow of JAMES VIRGO DUNN ESQre. She was born in Jamaica June 20 1762 died in London July 15 1839 and was buried here in compliance with her own express and long cherished desire."

Whereas I have vested in the 3 per cent Consols Six hundred pounds Stock I give and bequeath the same to my niece Elizabeth Raby Bridges & in Trust to my Executors for her sole use the interest thereof to be paid to herself & her own receipt necessary on receiving it when that cannot be had then the interest to be added to the Capital Stock and on her demise I give the said Bank Stock of Six hundred pounds to her youngest Child or Children if there be more than one share and share alike.
To my Niece Ann Virgo Hewitt widow I give my wearing apparel
I also give and bequeath to my sister Elizabeth Brooks all my household linen and furniture with Plate and my Carriage horse Robinhood.
By an account Current which my late dear husband had made out by his Clerk Peter Denap Lascelles in the year 1816 and which account is also inserted in the account current book Shafston Penn owes me £1109.7.6 out of this I give and bequeath the following after payment of my debts To my Nephew George Brooks the sum of Two hundred pounds To James Spence son of my Sister Sarah Spence and her other two sons George and Ephraim Dunn Spence two hundred pounds each in Trust to my Executors to be laid out by them in the best manner for their the said James George and Ephraim Dunn Spence's benefit To Philip Anglin I give Fifty pounds

CODICIL   Whereas I have received as a present from my dear and esteemed Mother a Bond of my late husbands for the sum of seven hundred pounds currency I give devise and bequeath the amount thereof when paid to my Executors heretofore and herein named In Trust to be by them funded in some security in Great Britain in and for the benefit of my niece Ann Hewitt Widow the interest arising therefrom to be paid her half yearly for the term of her natural life after her death I give devise and bequeath the amount of the money so funded to my Grand Nephew William Hewitt the son of Ann Hewitt Widow as soon as he attains the age of twenty one years to his heirs and assigns for ever but in case the said William Hewitt should die before arriving at such age or die without heirs lawfully begotten then I give the amount of the money so funded to my beloved Grand Niece Elizabeth Frances Brooks
I give as a token of my respect and esteem my large Silver Tea Pot to my revered Friend George Pinnock Esq of the Parish of St Andrews.

WILL OF SARAH GALLIMORE

In the name of God Amen.  I Sarah Gallimore of Devonshire Street Portland Place in the parish of St. Mary Le Bone in the County of Middlesex widow of Jarvis Gallimore late of the parish of Trelawny in the island of Jamaica Esquire deceased do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say I give and bequeath to my dear daughters Mary Wisdom Gallimore and Juliana James Gallimore all my plate to be equally divided between them share and share alike or as nearly so in value as may be

There are two table tombs in the churchyard at All Saints, Leamington Spa. The two tombs obviously cover a single family vault which accounts for the fact they are very close together (see photographs above).  James Virgo Dunn and his wife Elizabeth Virgo Dunn are in the vault, along with Elizabeth Virgo Scarlett, whose inscription reads:

"In this vault lie the mortal remains of ELIZABETH VIRGO SCARLETT relict of the late JAMES SCARLETT of Trelawney in the island of Jamaica who died at Leamington on the 2nd January 1821 aged 53. RQUIP"

WILL OF ELIZABETH VIRGO SCARLETT

This is the last will and testament of me Elizabeth Virgo Scarlett late of the Island of Jamaica but now residing at Leamington Priors in the County of Warwick widow
I will that all might just debts be paid and satisfied
I gave devise and bequeath unto my daughter Mary James Scarlett her heirs executors administrators and assigns a sum of money and proportion of my property of the same nature as and adequate in amount and value to the monies and property which I settled on my daughter Eliza Virgo on her marriage with General Riall
All the rest residue and remainder of my lands tenements and hereditaments and of my ready money securities for money monies in the funds bonds slaves plate jewells and all other my real and personal estate and effects whatsoever and of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever whether in England Jamaica or elsewhere soever I gave devise and bequeath to my said two daughters Eliza Virgo and Mary James their heirs executors administrators and assigns according to the nature and tenure thereof in equal parts shares and proportions as Tenants in Common and not as joint tenants, it being my will and mind that my said daughter Mary James shall in the first place take a sum and property adequate to the sum and property scheduled by me on my said daughter Eliza Virgo and that all the residue of my estate and effects whatsoever shall be equally divided between my said two daughters so that both shall be placed on an equal footing
And I appoint my said daughters Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other wills by me at any time heretofore made
