Although she is not mentioned on the Inscription, Florentius Vassal was reportedly married on Deptember 16, 1729 to another daughter of John Foster. She was Mary, born in 1713.
His ancestor, Captain Thomas Foster, of Northumberland, was concerned in the capture of Jamaica, and had large grants of land allotted to him in the island.
In 1722 and 1731 John Foster was Member of Assembly for St. Elizabeth. He died in 1731.
