There are 302 patients in the Hospital today. Two deaths occurred yesterday, and one today. Only two or three buildings are habitable. The other patients are being housed in tents and small houses. Mr. Charles de Cordova and Mr. Abrahams, cashier at Lyons store, are still very ill, but the former is showing some improvement. Dr. Johnston from Montego Bay and Dr. F. H. Cooke from Mandeville are also at work at the Hospital.
The Governor reminds members of the public who have lost relatives by the earthquake, of the necessity of complying with the Law as to the registration of death.
Proper certificates are specially important in making claims under policies of life insurance.
The office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths for Kingston re-opened today 21st instant at a place that will be notified as soon as possible.
