Jamaica SS:

Know all men by these presents that Abraham David Nunes Henriques of the city and parish of Kingston in the County of Surry and Island aforesaid Merchant for and in consideration of the sum of £110 current money of Jamaica to me in hand well and truly paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents by Henry Cerf of the parish of St Elizabeth Planter the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain sell and deliver unto the said Henry Cerf a certain negro woman named Phoebe with her future issue offspring and increase with the reversion and reversions, remainder and remainders, services and profits of the said negro woman slave to have and to hold the said negro woman slave named Phoebe and for her future issue offspring and increase unto the said Henry Cerf his heirs Executors administrators and assigns to and their only proper use and behalf for ever and I the said Abraham David Nunes Henriques my heirs Executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Henry Cerf his heirs Executors administrators and assigns from and against all persons shall and will warrant and forever disposes [?] by these presents.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal dated at Kingston the 20th day of December in the 46th year of his Majesty’s reign and in the year of our Lord 1805. Abm. David Nunes Henriques

Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of Solomon Bonito

Received the day and year first within written of and from the within named Henry Cerf the sum of £110 current money of Jamaica being the full consideration money to be paid to me Abm David Nunes Henriques witness Solomon Bonito

Memorandum 21st day of December 1805 personally appeared before me Solomon Bonito the subcribing witness to this within written Indenture or Instrument of writing and maketh oath that he was present and did see the written named Abraham David Nunes Henriques sign seal and as and for his own proper act and deed sign seal and deliver the same for the purposes within mentioned Geo. Kinghorn 21 December 1805

Miss Eliza Wint bought the above negro for £110 for which I promise to give a title Sept 22 1807 Henry Cerf
