June 1st, 1806

This was the Register for the Anglican (Church of England) Church in St. Ann. At some baptisms, including these, the minister included both the former slave name and the new 'Christian' name adopted by the slave. Slaves were referred to as the "property of" or "belonging to" a property or an individual.
