She was born Oct 06, 1829 (Source: B004 Jamaica Parish Register Baptisms I, p. 169.).

Notes for Hon. Hugh Anthony Whitelocke:

He died leaving his widow and 8 children. He was Adjutant, Cornet (1837), Lieutenant (1839) Captain (1846) and Colonel (1854) of the Westmoreland Militia, and Member of the Assembly of Jamaica from 1830 to the final session in 1866. His obituary appeared in the Falmouth Post, September 20, 1869, as well as in the Jamaica Guardian.

In the National Library of Jamaica there are some estate papers and letters listed as "Whitelocke Manuscripts" in the manuscript section on the second floor. He had copied letters that he had written into a notebook. On the flyleaf of the notebook it says "A. E. Whitelock, June 27, 1845." The letters in the notebook are signed "H. A. Whitelock," and they start with a letter dated September 30, 1845, with an address of "Glasgow, Westmoreland." On June 16, 1846 there is a letter with an address of "Grange Hill P.O." saying that he was appointed Custos of Hanover. Another letter, addressed to "Storer" dated May 6, 1846 writes about a crop shipment, Frome's being established, and Mr. Vickers taking up residence and assuming management of Belleisle. Other letters include April 20,1846 to "Dear Storer;" October 15, 1845 to "My dear Vickers" (a long letter to Benjamin Vickers); and May 11, 1846 to W. Bourk Esq. informing him that he has not been paid because he has not "looked around."

The estate books from Glasgow Estate, also in the manuscript collection, include account books which show payments to Thomas Tate (for steers and livestock) and to B. Vickers for duties on supplies. Thomas Tate paid Paul Island Estate for "ship to Stewart and Westmoreland by Caroline to London." Groceries and supplies were purchased from George Miles, and an accounting is made for them. Forest Pen Estate sold Robert Miles "8 fat cows" in 1849 for 65 pounds 6 shillings. The details of the transactions on the estates fill three account books.
