Sept. 3 - From Falmouth, sailed for New York, the brig Eliza, Conner, in whom went passengers Charles Moulton and James K. Kelly, Esquires, and Mrs. Kelly.

MARRIED :

In this town, Mr. John Clark to Miss Eliza Panton Betew.

At Port Royal, Mr. John Ridley, tavern keeper, to Mrs. Sarah Humphries, widow.

Montego Bay, Aug 30 - Last Saturday night, Mr. Geo. Perry, to Miss Anderson, daughter of the late Mr. Hugh Anderson.

DIED :

The infant son of Mr. Burdon.

Montego Bay, Aug 30 - At Hampden estate, in this parish, last Saturday, Mr. Maxwell Garthshore, an industrious and promising young man.

Miscellaneous:

The Surrey Assize Court was opened on Tuesday. The Hon. John Jaques, Esq. was the presiding Judge, and his Associates were George Kinghorn and William Daggers, Esqrs.

Algernoon Warren, Esq. was elected on Tuesday Coroner for this parish. There were two other candidates who stood the poll, and the contest was much more severe than ever remembered on a similar occasion.

Sept. 1, 1794 - To be sold, in the Parish of St. George:

A mountain plantation, belonging to Elizabeth Mure, containing 180 acres of Land, known by the name of FRIENDSHIP, well situated for a jobber, adjoining two sugar estates, about two mile from the sea; 20 of which are in ground provision, 30 in pasturage, and 130 in woodland, with some hard timbers. There is also on said land a very excellent spring, never known to be dry. Any person that is inclinable to be a purchaser may apply to Walter Richmond, Esq. Kingston, or to the proprietor, in St. George's.

Snow Hill, St. Andrew's, Sept 5 - All persons having demands against the estate of Denniss Kelly, Esq. deceased, are requested to render a state of the same to the Subscriber, that they may be settled and paid; and all persons indebted thereto are desired to make payment as speedily as possible. - Dominick Kelly, Act. Executor.

N.B. To be sold, Mr. Kelly's House, the corner of Duke and Barry Streets. Apply to Mr. Thomas Hynes, in Kingston, or as above.

Kingston - To be Sold, for Cash, A moiety of the house and land in which the subscriber resides; with an unquestionable title; and for the particulars enquire of James Davenport, corner of Water and Temple Lanes.

Kingston - All persons indebted to the estate of Thomas Werge, late of the parish of St. Thomas in the East, Planter, deceased, will be pleased to pay the same to the subscribers; and those to whom the said estate is indebted, are requested to furnish the subscribers with a state of their respective claims, that they may be adjusted. - Mary Werge, Executrix. - Thomas Gillespie, Executor.

Rio Nova Bay - The Copartnership of Hodgson, Williames, and Hodgson, having terminated this day, they request all persons who have accounts with them to come to an immediate settlement, and to make as early payments as possible to the Subscriber. The business will be carried on in future by Henry Williames and Co.

Abraham Hodgson, N.B. A pleasant and airy house, on St. Ann's Bay, to be let. It was lately tenanted by James Newby, Esq. Apply as above.

To be sold, A run of land, in the parish of St. George, containing by elimination(?) 300 acres; it binds northerly on John Clement the elder, east on Redmond McCraigh, southerly on John Primrose and John Lunan, and west on unsurveyed land. For further particulars enquire at his Majesty's Printing Office.

Kingston - To be sold, That capacious Dwelling House, with suitable out offices, in the town of Port Royal, belonging to Macmillian Jameson, Esq. at present rented to Mr. Brailsford. For particulars enquire of Dr. Fitzsimmons, Port Royal, or of the Subscriber, at the office of Alexander Ritchie, Esq. attorney at law, Church Street, Kingston. - William Walker
