Montego Bay, Aug. 23 - Monday last came on the election of two Vestrymen for this parish, in the room of James Irving and Simon Haughton Clarke, Esqrs. gone off the island, when James Peterkin and Samuel Sharpe, Esqrs. were elected.

Falmouth, Aug 27 - His Honour the Lieutenant Governor has been pleased to appoint the Rev. Adrian Reid to the living of this parish, vacant by the death of the Rev. Joseph Stoney.
