MARRIED:

In Spanish Town, on Friday last week, Mr. Oliver Berry, to Mrs. Wilhelmina Patterson; both of this town.

DIED:

A fine boy, about seven years of age, the son of Robert Patterson, Esq. of St. Thomas in the East, fell overboard from a ship, on coming from Port Royal on Wednesday evening, and was unfortunately drowned. The body was not found until Friday.

Lately, in St. Ann's, Mr. Thomas Tawney, of this town, butcher; a very old inhabitant.

In this town, Miss Susanna Duffus, daughter of Mr. Alexander Duffus.

At New York, Mrs. James, of Haughton Tower, in this parish, relict of Montague James, Esq.

In England, Mrs. William Dawney, of Trelawny.

At Running Gut estate, in this parish, last Saturday, Mr. James Edmonston.

In this town, last Sunday morning, Mr. Thomas Price.

Miscellaneous:

A Negro man, convicted of having last week stolen a barrel of flour from the wharf of Mr. Davidson, was sentenced to be punished with sixty lashes.
