PASSENGERS ARRIVED:

In the Prince William Henry Packet Boat, Mr. Jopp, Mr. Walter Adams, and Lieut. Colonel Danzie of the 49th regiment.

In the brig, Pomona, from Savannah, Mr. Randolph and Mr. Craddock.

In the Lord Rodney, from Liverpool, Mr. Rainford and Mr. Edwards.

In the Henry, from London, Messrs. Marshall, Northmore, Gauntlett, R. Blackwell and J. Blackwell.

In the Ann and Susanna, from Liverpool, Mr. James Ball and Mr. Benson.

Four French gentlemen were passengers in the Hercules, from Bristol.

Arrived at Black River on the 15th the ship Foster Barham, Spencer, in 28 days from Plymouth. Passenger, Mr. Philip Levy.

Friday last arrived at Dry Harbour the ship Blenheim, Captain Wilson, from London, but left from Falmouth, after a passage of 30 days. Passengers, Arch. Campbell, Esq. of Minard, and family.

In latitude 33, long. 23, Captain Wilson spoke a Portuguese brig from the Blenheim, bound to Madeira, out 108 days; the people were in need; of every necessary of life, which Captain Wilson humanely supplied them with by hoisting out his boat, the men on board the brig being to exhausted as to be unable to get their boat out.

In Clarendon, on Sunday last, William Bullock, Esq. to Miss Dunckley, of that parish.

 

DIED:

At Dove Hall, in the parish of St. Thomas in the Vale, on the 17th last, Miss Frances O. Bayer, in the 38th year of her age.

In St. Mary's, in the 72nd year of his age, Phillip Cox. Esq.

At Hispaniola, a few days since, William Shaw, Esq. of this town.

In this town, Mr. Robert Cameron.

On Saturday last, at Iron Shore estate, St. James, Miss Panting.


Miscellaneous:

Montego Bay, Feb 16, Tuesday last came on the election of Churchwardens and Vestrymen of this parish, for the ensuing year, when the following Gentlemen were returned:

Churchwardens: - Robert Bowen and Ralph Montague.

Vestrymen: - Walter Murray, Samuel Barrell, James Irving, William Fowle, Alexander James Findlater, George Dunbar, Philip Anglin Scarlett, Thomas Joseph Gray, Duncan Anderson, and David Bernard.
