   The Lord Bishop of Jamaica, the Bahamas, and the Settlements of Honduras, and their respective Dependencies.-(a) The Hon. and Right Rev. Aubrey George Spencer, D.D. (£3000) paid by the British Government.

   Coadjutor Bishop.-The Lord Bishop of Kingston, Archdeacon of Middlesex, receives £1400 from the Bishop of Jamaica.

   Acting Archdeacon and Commissary of  Middlesex.- The Rev.
Dr. Musson, receives £400 from the Bishop of Kingston.

   Archdeacon of Surry.- The Venerable Richard Panton, D.D. £600, by British Government, as Archdeacon, gets £340 per ann. besides as Island Curate, St Andrew's.

   Archdeacon and Commissary of Cornwall.-The Venerable Thomas Pierce Williams, D.D., £600 by British Government, and £500 as Rector of St. James.

   (a.) Has retired invalided. The Right Reverend Reginald Courtenay has been appointed to the discharge of the episcopal duties of the Diocese under the title of the Bishop of Kingston.

   NOTE --According to the 19 Vic. cap. 6, the pay of the clergy from 1st of January, 1856, was to be as follows, viz. : The Rector of Kingston, £600;  of St Catherine, St. James, and Trelawny, £500 each; of St Andrew, £450, and of the other seventeen £400 each. The fifty Island Curates are to get £340 each; the Registrar of the Diocese, £70; and the Apparitor to the Bishop, 14/. per annum.

   The clergy who dissent from the above rates, will, after the expiration of the Old Clergy Bill on the 31st of December, 1859, receive the following pay from 1st of January, 1860 Rector of Kingston, £525; of St. Catherine and St. James, Trelawny, £437. 10s. each; of St. Andrew, £393. 15s.; and the remaining seventeen Rectors, £350 each. The Island Curates will each receive £297. 10s.; the Registrar, £66. 10s.; and the Apparitor, £14 per. annum.

   In the list we have prefixed a (d) to those who have dissented from 19 Vic. cap. 6.  Those who have assented have no prefix to their names.

2nd. Some of the Clergy are also Chaplains to the troops in the Island, for which they are remunerated by the British Government.
3rd. Each Rector has either a glebe provided by the Parish, independent of his salary from the Public Treasury, or receives from the Parish from £80 to £100 in lieu of glebe.

BRITISH WESLEYAN METHODIST ASSOCIATION.

FORMED is 1837.-(BY THE LATE REV. THOMAS PINNOCK.)

The Jamaica Branch of the British Wesleyan Methodist Association was formed in 1837, by the Rev. William Pinnock, who subsequently resigned his connexion, forming another association. The ministers in Jamaica are Abraham Hyams and Thomas J. Hayes.
