THE COLLEGIATE DEBATING SOCIETY.

   This society was formed with the object of promoting a literary taste among the young men of Kingston, and training the members to readiness in debate and the faculty of easy and effective expression.  Membership is open, not only to Collegiate Pupils, but to all who are desirous of enjoying the advantages which such an institution offers.
   At present the Society holds its meetings once every two months, and the subject of debate is fixed at the preceding meeting.
   Entrance Fee, 10s. 6d.
   Yearly subscription (paid quarterly) 20s.
   Application for admission to membership must be made to the Secretary.

YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION

Established for the moral, religious, intellectual, and social improvement of the young men of Kingston.  There is a library in connexion with the Association.  The meetings are held at the Mico Institution.  The lectures also come off there.  These are delivered periodically by ministers and other gentlemen.
