   These Works have been taken over by the Government a new reservoir, capable of holding about 50,000 gallons, built at Spanish Town, and a new steam engine and pumps erected.
   The inhabitants are now being supplied with water daily.
   The rates are collected by the Collector of Taxes for St. Catherine.
   The management of the machinery is under the Director of Roads Department.
