To ARTHUR ALEXANDER CARTER part of Troy land down to Spring Side Pen. I also give him the balance of 45 acres at Warsop remaining unsold.

I devise to my children while they remain unmarried the land containing my dwelling house, and after all unmarried children die I give it to Arthur.

All the rest of my land at Troy, My Lot, Montrose and Bartlett's Run I devise to my children ESTHER ELIZABETH WRIGHT, ANNE CARTER, JEREMIAH CARTER, JOSIAH CARTER, EMMA CARTER, JOSEPHINE CARTER, and ADA CLARKE CARTER and their heirs to be divided equally.

To my sister-in-law LOUISA AUGUSTA YOUNG wife of my brother WILLIAM JAMES YOUNG I devise 10 acres at Montrose.

Executors: my sons Arthur and Jeremiah.
