According to the 1840 Jamaica Almanac (B134) he owned the following properties in St Ann: The Ridge 806 acres, Coffee Grove 149 1/2 acres, Bengal 721 acres.

In the Biographical Notes (B936) there is a memoir that says he also owned Scarboro (80 acres) and Owens (239 acres). The acreage given for the Ridge and Bengal in this memoir appears to be greatly overstated at 1,485 and 1,749 acres respectively. This informant also described the Todds as "the cream of the aristocracy in St. Ann."

In 1832 Utten Todd contributed 5 pounds 6 shillings and 8 pence for the founding of a new Presbyterian Kirk in St. Ann's Bay, according to the "Jamaica Courant", February 18, 1832.

In his will dated 1871 he disposes of the Ridge, the adjoining property Mount Carmel, and Bengal. According to his will he also owned Cyprus Pen, which he had inherited from his father. His son Utten had 'mortgaged' it from him, but Utten died before his father. He also owned a house in Stepney, Middlesex, England when he wrote his will in 1871, but he had sold it by 1876, and it was the subject of the first codicil to his will.

The Ridge was sold by the Todds to a Texas cattle rancher in 1976.
