I devise the Island of Lundy the subject of documents 2/20/1844 between me and Caroline Helps Morris. . . to my son HUDSON GROSETT HEAVEN, then to his daughter's children, and by default to my son WILLIAM WALTER HOPE HEAVEN, my son DE BONNIOT SPENCER HEAVEN, successively.

My daughter is CECILIA HARRIETT HEAVEN. My nephew is JOHN GYDE HEAVEN.

[This is a very long Will, through British Courts, and then to Jamaica. The will was too wide, and the left side of the page was filmed separately from the right side, increasing the difficulty in reading it] .

Included in the Will are "Ramble" and "Friendship" in Hanover.

CODICIL 4/5/1866:

WILLIAM WALTER HOPE HEAVEN has died since the making of my will, leaving his widow MARIAN ELIZABETH HEAVEN and his daughter CECILIA MARIAN HEAVEN. His share goes to HUDSON HEAVEN and JOHN GYDE HEAVEN. Income from rentals is to be shared by WALTER CHARLES HUDSON HEAVEN and CECILIA HARRIETT HEAVEN.

Witnesses: ARTHUR GEORGE HEAVEN Solicitor, Bristol, CHARLES H. SIMS his clerk, to the 4/5/1866 Codicil.

I bequeath my pet watch-dog "Sultan" to HERBERT MILO BURKE feeling certain that he will take care of him and treat him as I myself would do.

I bequeath my 5 parrots to MR. LIONEL MARK MORDECAI.

All the rest and residue of my jewelry, trinkets and personal ornaments I give to the daughters of JAMES FITZ-ALLAN SMITH to be distributed among them.

I give my residuary estate to the executor to realize and convert into money to be held in trust after paying my debts and funeral expenses and used the following purposes:

To erect a suitable monument over my late husband's grave.

To erect a suitable monument over my own grave.

To pay the said LOUISA BURKE £100.

To pay each of the daughters of the said LOUISA BURKE £50.

To retain the remainder for himself.

In case the younger daughter of the said LOUISA BURKE shall be under age the executor is to hold and invest the £50 until she is 21.
