This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Murphy Douglas of Sterling in the Dry Harbour Mountains District of the parish of St. Ann in the County of Middlesex and Island of Jamaica.  I give and bequeath my property called Old Home in the District and parish aforesaid containing 350 acres of land more or less, with all buildings thereon, together with all the rest residue and remainder of my personal property both real and personal of which I may be possessed, or to which I may be entitled at the time of my death or over which I may at any time have disposing power unto Jasper William Gruber Esquire his heirs executors or administrators upon trust for the sole use and benefit of my daughter (now residing with me) Sarah Corrisande Gruber during her natural life and at or immediately after her death for the benefit of any child or children which she may have surviving her and should she die having no children then for the benefit of Parkinson Osborne Gruber his heirs and assigns for ever, provided that at the request and with the consent of the said Sarah Corrisande Gruber at any time (or at the request and with the consent of Parkinson Osborne Gruber, should he inherit), Old Home may be sold and the entire amount realized by such sale invested by the Trustees as early as possible thereafter in the purchase of any other __table freehold of her selection in the aforesaid parish or elsewhere, to be enjoyed and inherited in succession in like manner as Old Home and in lieu thereof--and I appoint the aforesaid Jasper William Gruber Esquire Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, and I hereby revoke all former wills etc.  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 21st day of February 1883.
