MILITIA

NOTE: It is impossible to get any reliable information respecting the Militia. The companies have been virtually disbanded. Should this branch of the Service be resuscitated, we shall publish a list of the officers, etc., in the next edition. The Volunteer movement has so much declined since the rebellion of 1865, that the Government has decided upon disbanding all the corps, with the exception of one or two, which are to be reorganized.
