MAP OF JAMAICA IN 1670

In 1670 there were 11 parishes. The inhabitants of six of these were listed in a report sent to England by Thomas Modyford. The five that were not included in the report were: St. James, St. Anns, St. Marys and St. Georges in the north, and St. Elizabeths in the south.
